I've just found out that Rita Ora (RIP, Hot Right Now) was originally offered the chance to record Cheryl/Calvin Harris' song Call My Name! She turned it down because she said it wasn't really her style and she didn't want to go down the dance route in her music.

If you are going to V Festival this year, it has been announced that Wretch 32, Stooshe and Beverly Knight have been added to the line up! I really wish I was going, because the line up is amazing, but unfortunately I'm not! Are you? :)

Capital Summertime Ball!

The Capital Summertime Ball line up has been released and the tickets are on sale! There is such a good line up this year, with acts like Katy Perry, Jessie J and Justin Bieber! Selena and Justin

Selena Gomez and her boyfriend Justin Bieber were watching the Los Angeles Lakers play basketball on Monday when they appeared on the court's Kiss Cam! The Kiss Cam zooms in on couples to make them kiss, and when it zoomed in on the celebrity couple they complied, but Selena said she was very embarrassed! I think they are a really cute couple! If you are a Simpsonizer, like me, please go and check out a new video that Cody Simpson has very kindly created and posted for a cover on his mixtape Angels & Gentlemen! The cover is of Calvin Harris' 'Feel So Close' and I love it! The video is made up of all pictures that fans sent in of them and Cody (not going to lie I did send in my drawing of him  (christinastoreyfashion.blogspot.com) but it wasn't used!) Cody does so much for his 'Angels' and I admire him for that because I don't know of any artist that does all this just for his fans, so thank you Cody!

Today, Cheryl Cole, or 'Cheryl' as she wants to be called from now on, has released a new single called 'Call My Name'. It was written by Calvin Harris, and I heard it on the radio for the first time this morning and I quite like it! It is quite different from what she usually does, but it's not bad! I am loving the new song by Fun called 'We are Young'! It's really different and I just think it's really good!

Another song that has been in my head all week is Boyfriend from Justin Bieber! I prefer the bridge and chorus to the verses but other than that I think it's good.

YouTube Favourites!

I love looking at videos on YouTube, and these are my top 5 channels (music and non-music related)/ Artists that I love to listen to!

5. MCMuddin - This channel does lots of remixes and my favourite one is 'Pirates of the Caribbean House/Electro Mix'. It's is remix of the Pirates of the Caribbean theme tune and its great for the car with the bass turned high!

4. pixie2woo/tanyasvlogsandhauls - The first channel is a make up tutorial channel by Tanya Burr. She has some really great tutorials and some really nice looks that are quite easy to do. Her other channel is a more fun channel, which she often does with her boyfriend, who is very funny!

3. boyceavenue - I know I posted about them last time, but I really like their channel, and all of their covers and their own songs are amazing!

2. skillzaisherebooya (Connor Maynard) - This is the channel he has for all his covers, and they are all so good, especially Next to Me (Chris Brown and Justin Bieber) and ET (Katy Perry).

1. CodySimpsonMusic - I know I am a Simpsonizer so I would obviously like his channel, but his channel has really good covers (esp. 'Taylor') and acoustic versions of his songs. Cody has videos on there from when he was much younger and it's really nice to see how far he has come and how much he has improved!

Songs I'm loving at the moment!

There are some great new songs out at the moment, but my favourite song right now is Boyce Avenue's 'Broken Angel'. I got into Boyce Avenue when they were the support act at a concert and I really liked them! They do really good covers on YouTube and I really like the songs that they write. 'Broken Angel' is one of their own songs and I like that there is so much meaning behind the lyrics. I am also loving Connor Maynard (and all of his covers!) His new single 'Can't say no' is out now, and I like it, but I don't think it really shows off how good his voice is. 'Broken Angel' --->

Finally! Cody Simpson's debut album is being released June 5! The Coast To Coast EP was released last year with six tracks, and I LOVE it! I cannot wait until I can get the full album because, as you may be able to tell, I am a 'Simpsonizer'! Cody has also said in a UStream that he will be coming to the UK in the summer, and he thinks 'Europe is fly'! Don't know about you but I will definitely be there rocking the GCF sign!
