| Florence picking up one of her awards |
The NME Awards was held at Brixton Academy on the 29th February and it seems as though Adele's lucky streak has ended as she didn't pick up any awards on the night, she was beaten by Florence + The Machine for Best Solo Artist and Best Track for Shake It Out of which she performed on the night. Kasabian won Best British Band, The Vaccines won Best New Band, and for any of you keen festival goers, Glastonbury won Best Festival! For the Official website with a list of all the winners click
